I can tell you the type of mission you describe is quite easy except for having trees close by.
The GPS signal depend on how dense the leaves are on the trees. I fly between trees and see only minor problems with GPS but the trees are old and the canopy thin.

I did that one when I was just starting to do missions and the motor mix was not the best.

Here's the video that you wanted. My octocopter is over a year old and is the first autoquad I built. It still has the first AQ parameter file I've done. After many crashes, most of them cause by pilot error and because I wanted to test how well the frame would stand up to crashes, it still flies pretty well. I'm sure that many other AQcopters can do better. The wind does cause most the altitude changes because I could have the vent for the barometer in a better location. The trees can also cause some reduction in the quality of the GPS signal.
The mission use one meter for altitude changes and two meter when moving sideways.
