Hi,
i want to buy a tablet on android to run the qgc. My question is to know which tablet run well with the last apply 0.3 ?
My preference is on the samsung S with kikat 4.4.
Is the best choice ?

Runs fine on Android 4.x so it should work with the Samsung. I´m running it on kitkat both on my phone and a tablet.

Or buy a Windows 8 Home (not RT) tablet and run any software you want on it. 
But that's just me, I'm kinda fed up with Android... every new version limits what you can do with your device more and more, gets slower, and uses more battery... not to mention Google tracking every bit of your life.

Have an idea on wich have the best contrast outdoor, because mine will be used outdoor with the QGC ? On my old HTC smartphone i see nothing outdoor.
The tracking done by Google is not my problem. You have a lot of spies with other materials. Today it is not possible to do somethings without cookies !!!

Oh, it's possible to shield yourself from tracking somewhat, but takes some effort! 
In the end it boils down to how much privacy you're willing to give up for "free" services.
For outdoor the best is a matte (not shiny) screen. Some tablets/laptops are designed for that, but it's rare and they tend to be more expensive. I've found that a high-quality matte screen protector/cover can be a big help. I use Vikuiti (a 3M brand) on mine, but they're somewhat expensive and hard to find... there's probably less expensive options out there. OTOH mine last as long as the device, so it tends to be worth it.

for a Win8.1 Tab ... im found this one:
TrekStor SurfTab wintron 10.1
got 2GB RAM and the nice touch is, it has a full USB Connector.
If its good for outdoor usage, i dont know, i hope i can try it out in the near future.
