Same here. Getting the error message on both Arduino 1.0.5 and 1.5.5beta.
Chris, could you please download the LANC package from your previous post yourself and see if it compiles?
Maybe the files are corrupted somehow...

it looks like it using some different libraries FastSerial and digitalWriteFast

Here are the libs needed. Copy them into the libraries folder @ the arduino Installation.
Just tested with a virgin Installation on win7 Arduino 1.05.

Be aware that you can not switch the cam on, off or rec while the zoom channel is more than +-50 PW off center.
When you select a knob for zoom it is easy to forget to turn it to center after zooming out.
When I check for on/off ect while zooming, the zoom gets some "hickup". Zooming would not be smooth enough.

btw: did anyone find a good source for the Sony multi cables - or even better: just the plug?
They are hard to come by and I´m not willing to pay ridiculous prices like 50€ in the MK shop.
