Sorry about this question, but ...

Should be possible, instead of removing the 4.7K resistor and installing an 8.45K one, to add in parallel a 3.75K resistor?
Maybe It won´t look so nice but for sure will be a much more simple modification.

Update. Sorry again, stupid question: in parallel resistor will be lower, not higer. Forget this

Besides it doesn't work I still think it's easier to just desolder the old one.

Remove the old resistor by holding it with a pair of tweezers and heating up the solder by touching both sides alternately.
Don't use too much force. Remove remaing solder from the pads and follow the steps in the video.

Ok, I'll add a warning to the Wiki regarding the cawfee.

One of the worst things would be ripping off the pads on the board by pulling too much on the part while it's not yet completely lose. It has to swim before you can pull it off slowly.

This might be a stupid question, but would it be possible to use a 8.2k resistor instead of 8.45K? Would the AQ be way of in the voltage calculation if using 8.2k instead?

Im having a problem finding a dealer in sweden that sells 8.45k, it seems as if all of them only sell 8.2k and then the next step is 9.1k.
