ESC32V3 + RCTIMER 5010 260Kv + RCTIMER 17x5.5

Hi,

I have just finish the ESC32 V3 calibration procedure for the combination below:
- RC TIMER 5010-260 KV :
- RC TIMER 17x5.5 propeller :
- 6s multistat 5200 Ma Lipo :
- Turnigy Thrust Stand :

- default configuration off ESC

Thanks for posting!

I am not sure I like your thrust curve - the peaks and bumps points to problems with the measurement accuracy or other disturbances. I would expect to see a more even distribution of the data points.

Why are the RPM intervals in "odd" numbers. Are you using a servo tester to run the motor? Is the test motor set to closed loop RPM and the FF terms properly loaded?

You should use the RPM command to control the motor to an exact RPM and measure the thrust produced.

I would recommend doing the measurements in 300 or 500 RPM intervals....so its like 300-600-900-1200 etc.

At 4000rpm, it gives 1.3Kg thrust with 17", while Christof shows 900g with 15" at same rpm. Seems good value.
It can´t get more rpm because kv=360 I guess (I don´t know RCTIMER 5010 kv=260)

yes the RCTIMER 5010-260 is not so bad for the price motor 20 € and propeller 9 € and suitable for recreational use.

I think we have more RPM in the air.

I test later with 18x5.5 propeller ..

Some test today

with this configuration the motor 4 stops occasionally ad restart after.

I thinks is a problem of advanced timing , I"m right ? , I need to increase advance timing i?

Having just one motor stop will flying is not a good thing. You might want to check the temperature of the ESC32 V3. If they are over 80 c that might be the problem. I would doubt that temperature is your problem but if you have them inclosed with no heat sink that might be your problem.
You can read the temperature with QGC ESC Telemetry.

Your motors with just 12 poles should not need to have a high timing advance but you could try it.
