Calibrating a M4, not simple on-board calibration...

Who's doing it? Thus far I've only done simple on-board calibration on my LadyBird M4. Should I consider doing the full static and dynamic calibrations?

If for a ladybird, its probably gonna be a lot of effort to do a full calibration.

To be perfectly honest, I have only performed a full calibration on one single DIMU board since the DIMU release - I get perfectly adequate results with Tare and Onboard calibration on my builds.

The simplified procedure without temp compensation would be my recommandation for those wanting to step it up a notch - there is really not much Temp bias in the sensors before you reach around the 0 Celsius mark. And unless you go flying in -10C or lower, your IMU is gonna stay well over that level.

I didn't even notice any imperfection while navigating at -14°C with only a simple onboard calibration. I could imagine that there is a more noticeable jump if GPS signal gets poor and the AQ switches from GPS height to baro height or maybe mgnetic north is shifted by some 0.001 minutes but that's all nothing to worry about in my eyes.

Ok... so full calibration i.e. static and dynamic is only required for AIMU, not DIMU? So my calibso practicing has been in vain.

I suppose I won't be doing much flying at -15º C. At even 0º C I'd rather be indoors, so temp calibration is most likely not necessary -- unless I go pro. However, at what point, or put another way -- what size frame would benefit from a "DIMU Calibration Without Temperature Compensation"? It sounds like the LadyBird doesn't need it at all.
