130mm micro FPV w/GPS build

Looking to build a micro 130mm CF frame with FPV and GPS. Will Probably use Micro Motor Warehouse 130mm frame, dark motors, AQ M4 FC, 100mw 1.2Ghz micro FPV setup, 500mAh or 750mAh battery, FrSky Taranis+ Tx with DSM module. Hoping range will be about 350m.

What other parts should I get? Which GPS antenna? Bluetooth? Obviously want to keep weight down to a minimum if possible.

One good choice for GPS antenna is to make a dipole antenna with half of a U.FL based coax cable. You can find info in this thread...

For Bluetooth, the easiest way to go is with the Kisssys expansion board. Then you need the Bluetooth module itself. I got an HC-06 on eBay and bought a FTDI USB cable from 3D Robotics and re-programmed it with proper baud rate. You can buy a pre-programmed module from Viacopter or Flyduino or one from here...

The Bluetooth and Kisssys boards don't add too much weight. Not sure how much. They will add to the height though. Unless you mount the Bluetooth board elsewhere or do something like this...

Ideally whatever transmitter I build/use I'd like to future proof it so my goggles work with a future 250mm FPV quad.

@LMD - are you using separate batteries (one for camera/transmitter and other for M4) for this?

Yup that's the only way to attach Bluetooth. Either with an expansion board or this way...

Yes i use separate batteries for the moment.
It fly very well, it's very stable. I'm using the ladybird v2 parameters file, my first attempt at creating a dedicated XML file for it didn't gave me good result. Have to learn more...
