My attempt for the M4 on an other frame.
The M4 has 4 onboard motor drivers, those are brushless and cant be used for normal esc's. So an extension board was made to use the M4 digital ports available on the 10 pins connectors.
The original motor drivers are now used for led signaling.
M4 comes with an 1Kg license for the Quatos adaptive controller (PID controller replacement). Quatos usually relies on an closed loop mode with the ESC's but with some changes and lots of testing it is possible to use it with fast esc's in open loop. The Kiss esc's are just perfect for this.
Using the extension board is ideal for swapping, only 2 small m2 bolts need to be removed and the M4 can be detached.

Done, , 4x emax 1806 with 5x4 HQ props, 3S 1300mAh (11-13min flight), full graupner HoTT telemetry, full navigation etc @ 372 gram.
Maiden flight. No calibration, only tare. Using Quatos makes tuning so much simpler, maiden flight was obviously tuned for 'friendly' response..
