brat - I don't see why not. The only difference is the amount of current the ESC can handle.

Hey Guy's

Could i do a thrust curve measurement with a ESC32V3 and use that on the same motor/prop combo on a Kiss esc?
I have a tachometer, so i could do it with that. But the ESC32V3 in combination with the ECU software makes it a lot easier and faster to do. should that be a problem?

Cheers,

Ray

Today i tested my frame with different batteries with and without gimbal and with/without legs. Batteries: 3s 1600, 4S 1600, 4s 5200, 4s 3200. No any visible difference. No any parameters was changed.
I think, quatos may be configured much simplier without thrust measurement and proper xml creation.

Quatos is adaptative, it can work but without correct calibration you waste potential of Quatos.

Didn't you upload any xml model or just a simplified version?

XML model has gimbal, leggs and big battery. I removed gimbal and leggs and replaced 4s 5200 mah battery with 3s 1600 :) Frame flies as before. Very stable.

Is there an ext esc quatos version for an Aq6 rev 1 with DIMU? Couldn't find it yet...
A plus would be with follow me feature :D

AQ6 doesn't have onboard ESCs, so you don't need the external ESC option. Just use the available Quatos versions. However, that will only work with ESC32 at the moment. For Quatos on KISS ESC you need Menno's HOTT firmware version for now.

Thus far I've only tried Quatos with KISS. Would it be safe to assume that one could use a FVT Little Bee or DYS 20A with BLHeli instead of KISS for Quatos? or is KISS the only other way to do Quatos?

Should work OK with any decent ESC, or so I've heard. I've only tried it with KISS myself. ESC performance can make a big difference, but I suppose that is true of any control method.
