Postby plexus » Fri May 22, 2015 11:49 am

Hi,
Could you help me to find the config for my Hexa, I understand nothing ?
I wrote these one and they dont work because very heavy vibrationsand the bird flip.
<quatos_configuration>
<craft id="Monhexatest2" config="hex_plus">
<geometry>
<motor rotation="+1" port="1"</motor>
<motor rotation="-1" port="2"</motor>
<motor rotation="+1" port="3"</motor>
<motor rotation="-1" port="4"</motor>
<motor rotation="+1" port="5"</motor>
<motor rotation="-1" port="6"</motor>
Or:
<quatos_configuration>
<craft id="mk_hex" config="hex_plus">
<port rotation="+1">1</port>
<port rotation="-1">2</port>
<port rotation="+1">3</port>
<port rotation="-1">4</port>
<port rotation="+1">5</port>
<port rotation="-1">6</port>

The distance between center and motors is 0.277m.

Many thanks

Hi Alain,
correct is
Code: Select all
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<!--
 hexa x example
 -->
<quatos_configuration>
    <craft id="Alain_Hexa" config="hex_x">
        <ports>
            <port rotation="+1">1</port>
            <port rotation="-1">2</port>
            <port rotation="+1">3</port>
            <port rotation="-1">4</port>
            <port rotation="+1">5</port>
            <port rotation="-1">6</port>
        </ports>

        <distance>
            <motor>0.277</motor>
        </distance>

        <mass>
            <!-- define your masses in the MASS section -->

            <motor>100</motor>

            <arm>45</arm>

            <esc>0</esc>

            <!--
             M4 - located 2cm above COG
            -->
            <cube name="M4" dimx="0.036" dimy="0.036" dimz="0.0016" offsetx="0" offsety="0" offsetz="-0.02">10</cube>

        </mass>
    </craft>
</quatos_configuration>

This is for a HEXA X with AQ Standard Mixer http://autoquad.org/wiki/wiki/configuri ... ing-table/

P.S. You can now visualize your craft, refer to viewtopic.php?f=48&t=4456

Once used too you will like it! It's pretty 8-) This is another example I'm just working on: a QUATOS .XML file for an RCtimer Spider FPV frame.

Hi Alain,

you should keep things consistent and keep posting here! Since your question is here too!
I've already mentioned yesterday (viewtopic.php?f=48&t=4456&start=40#p32990) there is a problem with hexa_plus.

When changing your xml to hexa_x it works:

Also, please keep in mind: this is for visualization only! Your QUATOS .XML-file should work ;)
