GPS affix to ground plane

Would anyone happen to have a fix for how to affix one of the 10mm GPS antennas to a ground plane. Glue would prevent conductivity and solder would stop future removal--the hot air would desolder GPS parts within the housing maybe? Any ideas? Thanks so much for all of your help on this build.

Just use 2 small blobs of solder to fixate the antenna housing to the ground shield.
Can easily be removed afterwards without using hot airbut a normal soldering iron.

I used double sided automotive foam tape (3M) from Napa or O'Reilleys or similar. Then solder a small wire from the side of the bottom housing to the ground plane.
