N4 Bluetooth binding - not LEDs (KIT version - Solved)

Postby axelnied » Wed Mar 11, 2015 7:03 am

This issue was brought up initially by "fseider":
http://forum.autoquad.org/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=4331&start=10#p31163

I am experiencing a similar - if not the same - issue.
When plugging in LiPo (4s) he "PWR" LED does not illuminate.
After successful pairing the "PAIR" LED does not illuminate.
Bluetooth module appears with no issue in the QGCS and appears to work fine.

Ay ideas?

Well, sometimes THINKING really helps...!
I gave it some thought:
- I have the KIT version
- How would the board "know" if it is paired or has power?

There are two pins that needed to be soldered (LED1 and LED2).
Now all working good... Maybe this can be added to the how-to, or did I simply miss that?
