Before you start to dismantle your craft you should adjust the PWM values!
I have used SimonK (HK Blue series ESC) with the values below:
Arm: 1050
Min PWM: 1065
Starting PWM: 1110
Max PWM 1950
Find them on the MISC SETTINGS tab.

Values can vary for your setup, because of different motor/prop size/ESC. But they should give you an idea what to start with. KISS will also work with These Settings, but you usually can go lower with ARM/MIN/START values.

Did not read the whole tread, but: be sure to Flash your M4 with a Firmware for EXTERNAL ESCs! Otherwise you can adjust whatever Parameter you want and your Motors will not spin...

It's either UART or Bluetooth Module on this board. Not both. Right?

I have a M4-N4 with KISS running well with PID control. Now and I want to try QUATOS (on exactly same H/W)

I´ve loaded fw (aqv7.1.1852-hwv8.6-quatos-ext_esc), all params (attached). In restaring I see "QUATOS ENABLED". I can ARM, DISARM...and all looks right.

But when I arm and put some throttle QGC and FC both gets blocked and no motors run. I need to restart to back to live. (I´ve test this same behaviour when QUATOS LIC it´s wrong). Should I use same quatos library than AQ6 (for fw r449+)?

Any Idea whats happening?
