N4 expansion boards for BLDC

I've read at the Viacopter Homepage, that a new Ver. 1.2 N4 Board is released with the following new feature:

--> New version 1.2 N4 expander board - can use UART without turning off BT module

Is it possible, to modify existing Ver. 1.1 Board's on my own?
Did you also modify the uSD Card Slot?

i bought a v1.1 few days ago from Flyduino. Now i´m a little bit irritated with the connectors, because in the AutoQuad Base is a note that connectors for M7 and M8 are swapped. Is the silkscreen correct or swapped at the v 1.1 ?

I dont like to crash on first take off just because of wrong connection

yep, i considered about testing it this way meanwhile. Did it on my x8 when i built it, but haven´t forgot about it - everything older than 4 weeks takes too much "memory"
