Hello,
SO I finally got my M4V2 board in and completed the ladybird build. Believe I have done everything correctly, yet I am having problems binding my controller MLP6DSM to the M4V2 board.
I have closed the jumper pad on arm 2, and checked it with a meter. I have the param Radio Type = -1, Radio Setup = 8
These are the steps I take to bind...
Plug in USB, M4 board powers on.
about 15-20 secs, yellow LED begins to blink rapidly. At this point, I hold the left stick on my transmitter down while I power it on (This is the bind procedure for this transmitter). It's suppose to work with DSM2 just like the MLP4DSM TX
The yellow will stop blinking rabidly, but will not light solid. Instead it lights very briefly, then goes dim, and repeats to light briefly, then go dim, and repeat, at about 1hz.
Now after I have done this, I connect the M4 in QGS, and in the radio & control tab, I can see it says my signal stregnth is between 0-4%, and when i move the sticks on my controller, the values change irratically. In the top right corner, in unmanned systems, when i turn off my transmitter, it will say CYRF , sync A. and when i turn my transmitter back on, it will say CYRF receiving.
So it is somewhat acting like it's bound... but not getting a good signal or something, I have no clue at this point. I have made an antenna following the instructions from a u.fl cable. and here is a pic....
Any ideas? Just FYI I did update the firmware first thing on the board using the firmware wizzard, I downloaded the latest M4 quatos firmware. It seemed to flash okay and everything has been fine since then, except this problem i'm having now.
