One last question: why did you glue the M4 to the frame instead of mounting it using M2 screws and short standoffs?

Looks very nice. Was not aware the M4 is this small and will fit the frame even if it was initially not designed for this.

I always use double sided foam pads on all my Nanocopters to mount the FC with good results.

Yep, have seen the Hexa and Octo frames - they´re looking very interesting, too - and like the Quad nearly unbreakable.



Those Chaoli 8.5mm "dark" motors look like they deliver a punch. The combo will surely make a fast & furious Nanoflyer.
btw: do the motor mounts protect the wires on the bottom? I wouldn´t want to land on them...
