I have a HK FPV250 and those same motors and props. Could you post your parameter set for your build and I won't have to do the motor test.

Cheers

Sure,

in the config file.
Also attached a set of changes to make the quatos-pwm possible. Changes: in the board file some new defines are present to make selecting an esc easier .
In the motor files based on the type of esc (fast standard ie kiss, simonk / onboard esc m4 or esc32 pwm ) the speed and open/closed loop is selected and initialized.
Also the calibration routine eg endpoint calibration and easy pwm2thrust is present.

In the config.c/h files a esc type is now as param (0 = default = standard esc, 1 = onboard, 2 = esc32 pwm) and the calibration request param.

fw file is probably of no use because of the specifics in it like HoTT, external voltage etc, pwm on specific ports.
Better to wait for the definitive M4 release so it can be coded generic.

Hi Menno,

Perfect, I went to bed hoping this would be here. Save me a lot of time and I needed the changes you made. You might think about a M4 build until you get this all ported over to the main repo.

Thanks
Steve

This my small M4-N4-KISS-QUATOS (I call "Q6") that flies very very well.

Attached the params I use. Main data is the following
Motor-to-motor = 408mm
XMotor 2208 with 0845 HQ props. KISS 18A escs, w/o Caps. External Rx Spektrum satellite
Central plate Warthox with 3D printed end-fitting for arms (CF 16mm tube)
AUW = 725g with 2600 Lion battery , about 20min flight time

Enjoy

I use:

FAIR P-Ion, 3s (10.8 V) 2600 mAh 36€ , 200g weight
From: HaDi-RC Modellbau, <Info@hadi-rc.de>

I´m very happy with them. I use also 6000mA, 4S on my larger copter. Also very good.

Below another M4-N4 build using KISS and QUATOS. I got also very good flying after correct parameters tunning (attached)

Details are:
-190mm motor-to-motor
-234g AUW with 1000mA,3S battery
-TMotor MT1306 & 5x3 props
-Custom frame in 3DPrinted with material ABS-Carbon Fiber (from "Proto-Pasta", USA)
-using "aqv7.1.1852-hwv8.6-ext_esc.bin" with KISS and QUATOS

Still working on GPS configuration to get better performances. With this 12mm antena I get hAcc = 2.6 and vAcc= 2.3 while with the 35mm one I get 0.7 average (for best performances, those values should be <1)

Video promised
Enjoy

Angel,

I am converting my Leora to Quatos....it uses 5*3 Gemfan props and MT1306

It looks like you are in fact using a 5*3 prop, can you confirm this? I would like to steal your A1 and A2 params.... :)

Angel,

Can you pls give an answer to my question?

Are you really using 3s with this....I would think that burns the motor?
