whats the situation with PPM in and the M4 ? Extension board needed to run a PPM RX ?

PPM input works as-is, simply use the same RC connector on the M4 board and set the radio type option to PPM. Just keep in mind there is only 3.3V on the RC + connection, so if your Rx needs more voltage, you may need to use a step-up regulator or other power source.

When is the m4 expected to be released ? I´m asking because a local video-club asked me yesterday about a very special project. I need a very small copter which i can trust, and which is able to lift a GoPro HD3 at least for 5 minutes. So i thought about the m4 at a 300 size quad oder 350 size hexa.

Is there anythign in progress about anti-collisioon sensoring with sonar / ultrasonic sensors ? Would be great for this project if able.... if there is any contact i should call directly, please let me know.

The AQ Motherboard looks awesome, can't wait for it to be released. Good job on the OSD, that's much needed for AutoQuad. There's just one thing that bothers me - at max 150A, the power distribution seems a bit underpowered. It's not uncommon for motors to draw 20A or more per motor in heavier camera rigs, so that's at least 160A in octo config. Could you guys please make the board more heavy duty? I'll surely use the motherboard in my current hexa (eats up to 120A), but the 150A max output prevents me from using it in my upcoming heavy lift octo project, which leaves me with no OSD and no reliable power distribution (and other goods that the motherboard has to offer).

On a side note - do you guys already have any pricing info about Quatos pricing for commercial use?
