I have assigned knobs on my TX to tune the Quatos parameters (AM1,AM2, Prop-K1,.) but how to store the values once finished? With the craft sitting on my desk, connected to QGC I can't see any change in parameters when moving the related channels.
Any advice how to start?
The Knobs work quite well but it's a little hard to fine info on how they work.
1. Turning a knob from minimum to maximum will set the original parameter value from 0 to 2 x of the original parameter value.
2. I set the Channels I use for knobs so they move from -500 to +500 and I view their movement by setting the Cam. Trig. and Gimbal Tilt to the same two channels in the QGC.
3. Then I tune with the knobs while flying.
4. After landing I view the position of the Cam Trig. or Gimbal Tilt to see the position they have.
5. Then I calculate the percentage of change by multiplying the those settings by 2/10.
6. Then add or subtract the percentage of the original parameter that the knob controls to the original parameter and change the original parameter to that new setting.
Their must be an easier way to tell how to do this. I hope you get the idea.
