how to change pids back to defaultt?

How do you change your pids back to default after fiddling a lot and you want to start over again? Loading de parameter file doesn't put them back at default.

No one only reflashing firmware will do the trick?

I use to keep a file saved with the defaults (you can save it just after put the firmware). So i can reload it at any moment without the need of reflashing.

It will lead the build in defaults, you have to upload your param files and specific settings again.
It might indeed be a good idea to save the param file by using the save option in the all param screen after you have done your works.

ok just did a backup of all the paramaters in to a txt file. But i don;t seem to be able to load them back in AQ any ideas on how to do this?

Restoring to factory default;

Make a connection with the AQ using QGCS, open the panel as displayed below.

Open the param config_version, a number above 0 will be displayed there (53 in my example)

Set the value of that config_version to 0

Then press 'transmit' AND 'Write (ROM)'
Reboot the AQ and all is restored, you now need to upload your param file and any changes you've made..

Motor mix also defaults.
Doesn't take long to figure out but worth a little warning to save re keying values.
