take off unstably (gyrate or fly forward when take off)

Hi all,

I built my quad without a DIMU. I just finished all the soldering and assembling work, haven't started PID tuning yet.

Now the condition is, when it takes off, it will gyrate or fly forward. What should I do.

Also, one of the motors can not work well unless I increase throttle very very smoothly.(If not, that propeller can not spin several circles unsmoothly then stuck. And that motor warms up )

I appreciate all the ideas or suggestions you might have.

I recommend you fix that motor first! Which motors & ESCs are you using?

Hi Kevin,

have you calibrated the ESC32 to the MN4014 since it seems like this one motor looses sync when changing throttle.
Your motors are well if they are able to react on each and every throttle change (i.e. from low idle to full throttle) without loosing sync (you can easily test this when using QGC).
