But my question is sensitive throttle in MANUAL Mode. Flying around mid stick in manual mode quad is either trying to go up or trying to go down.

When I look at your Log, throttle is moved up and down in "steps". How about your Radio friction strap and "rachet" function? The Throttle stick should move with very little friction and with NO "rachet". How about when attaching a servo? Can you move the servo very smooth?

The radio is Spektrum DX8. apparently seems ok to me

I have a Spektrum DX8 and I know that the throttle tension is easy to adjust without splitting the transmitter's case.
If you haven't flown helicopters before you won't understand how important having the throttle stick to move easily is.

You should not be able to feel any ratcheting motion when you have the adjustment right.

Have you tried turning down Tilt Rate D? With the rest of the PIDs at default, try reducing TRD in steps of 1000 (assuming AQ fw v6.7) and see if that improves it. Ultimately I think you'll want a stiffer frame, but that should help.

As for the throttle channel, if your radio has the feature, I recommend a throttle curve on there to flatten the output around hover point (so you have more precise control around the middle of the stick throw, like expo).

Sorry It was tilt Angle that was changed.


Hard mounted the fC on frame only using double tape.
Vibration is now in +-0.5 on accels.

OK got one error. tilt rate D was set 1780 which was causing the vibration to reduce by a level of 50%. It was by mistake so I changed it back to default value of 7180, then on 4000.
DX8 has 5 point throttle curve. Changed the throttle curve to smooth out the highly sensitive throttle. Improves the response but not much


Nothing changed the throttle sensitivity.
