AQ 6.6 First flight oscillation...

Postby vonsy » Fri Feb 22, 2013 11:08 am

Hi All,

This is my first flight with my AQ and quick flght . Here's a the video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuAiA4SVGvk

As you can see it oscillate, my default Tilt angla P is 60.

I have read that i have to lower at about 20.

Is there another PID that i must tweak ?

Thank you.

Regards.

Pascal.

My first flight with Aq6 I had the same probleme. I reduced the Tilt rate D 7000 to 6800.
But now sometimes the wobble come back and I just reset the AQ to stop that wobble. Strange , no ?

My Pid's are in that post:
viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2117&p=10896#p10896

The frame is coming from MK.de. That is an HEXA2, and it flight well. But a lot of work to do.
Cheers, bonne chance.

I found on the three AQ copters I've built it's very important to not change PIDs to reduce oscillation. If you have too much vibrations getting to the AQ board that will cause oscillation. Tilt rate D is the only PID setting I have needed to adjust to get RTH to work well.
Yesterday the third AQ I built had fast oscillation and it was cause because I forgot I needed to put -45 in the IMU rotate setting.
