Simple proportional constants for modeling AQ m4 v2

Postby XTTR » Thu Mar 09, 2017 9:42 pm

Hello everyone,

since i'm totally new to the Autoquad platform as well asquadcopter systems, i would like to create a theoretical model of my Autoquad M4 v2 drone in order to understand the underlying physis.
Doing that, i need some parameters for modeling my Thrust and tourqe.
I know that thrust is related to tourque via a proportional relationship (k_m), and thrust is my angular velocity squard times another constant (k_t).
Can anyone of you guys provide me this constants or even the corresponding curves? I can't really perform any tests over her, because i don't got a test rig and so on.
In addition, can you tell me how this is linked to the drag coefficient?

My setup is: Autoquad M4 v2 ladybird with the standard corlessbrushed motors and the ladybird propellers.

Thanks a lot :)

Apart from the Quatos tool, we dont really have anything like what you are asking for.

The quatos tool will calculate your moment of inertia and motor thrust parameters, so it does some of what you are asking for. But Torque is always estimated and tuned by hand.
