What is a good range for the MAE values...

Postby Jdmagoo » Sun Jun 23, 2013 2:21 pm

Apologies if this question has been asked previously but for some reason search is not working for me on this forum.

Anyway, for each step of the calibration procedure what is an exceptable MAE range? I can't find a diffinitive range in the wiki.

Step 1 MAE range =
Step 2 MAE range =
Step 3 MAE range =
Step 4a MAE range =
Step 4b MAE range =
Step 5 MAE range =
Step 6 MAE range =

Many thanks

Hi James,

There is no real "good" vs. "bad" range for MAEs. We tried to come up with some when writing the docs, but it's not consistent. What you're really looking for is steady drops during the calculations, not specific numbers. If they're jumping all over during calcs, that's a good sign something is wrong with the data.
