I am thinking about getting an autoquad FC for my quad. I read the wiki, especially the calibration section. Now I am wondering whether my PC is fast enough to run the calculations. It is an Intel Core Quad 9400 @ 2.67gHz with 8gb RAM, 64bit - about 4 years old. There is a "windows experience index" under properties which looks like a benchmarking of various components. Subscores for calc per seconds are 7.2, for memory operations per second also 7.2.
I ran another benchmarking test with a software called SuperPi (http://www.superpi.net/Download/) which seems to do pure mathematics, probably similar to the calculations required here. A 1m calculation of Pi took 22.3s.
Based on your experience, is this setup fast enough to run the calculations after calibration?
Thank you for your support,
