Pls comment my static calibrate

Postby monkey1 » Tue Nov 27, 2012 3:05 am

I put it out from refrigerator 2 hours, i don't know why only have 40,000. I saw some people have 50,000 or even 80,000. The temperature range is it not good? And the others have problems or not?

Thank you for comment.

Those are very short logs. Typically you want to see 500K data points or more. 2 hours should be > 1M. How big are your log files in bytes?

It must stop logging for some reason. Faulty SD card maybe... Which are you using?

Set it up so you can keep an eye on the green light on the AQ board while it is thawing -- if it stops blinking rapidly then something is wrong.

I recently had a sandisk card that would stop logging at 1,24 Mb, and could not be reformatted. I now use only Transcend and PNY cards....class6 minimum.

We are researching uSD cards, but it seems that the Sandisk cards are prone to errors, especially the larger ones (+8GB) seem to use a lot of power - another user has reported something similar with a Sandisk card.

uSD cards are probably the most widely counterfeited piece of consumer electronics at the moment, so it can be a but of hit/miss to find a proper one. Large brands like Sandisk and Kingston are the most counterfeited cards...

I have 2 trancends class10 8GB, and I have never had any problems with those. So if you can find a genuine transcend card, that is probably your best bet....
