I apologize, I called James and he was unavailable at the time. I went on vacation and forgot all about it.

I called again today and James was out but talked to Jeff who said it's at 300hz now but James has had it running at 500 hz for a while and just needs a little more testing before it would be released. The code is easily upgraded so not a big deal.

I am still willing to go in on purchasing a VN-100 board but have other plans for it's use. I see value in the VN-100 in a commercial platform because of it's easy replacement if the IMU fails. I doubt if we will see any major improvement in performance over a correctly calibrated AQ.

Is it worth $800 to not have to calibrate your AQ?

Thanks a lot for your efforts.
I think it would be a nice option for the AQ. For me personally it is an experiment and a new toy. It might be worth the 800$ for some users, who have problems with the whole calibration procedure and therefore leave AQ.

I really wonder how the VN-100 performs.
I guess James will get back to you as soon as the sensors are ready.

Hi Jan,

The boards are available but I think the interest is pretty low from the post's I've seen. Srinath ask about it a couple of weeks ago and that's about it.

not from my side, but I am still alive, but did not realize yet to build up an AQ copter (jobwise ) but still very interested in easier solution to get a good working IMU
