XBee Questions

I just checked sparkfun and they have a number of different XBee's - it is slightly confusing.
Here my quetions:

XBee's run on either 900MHz or 2.4GHz. I am using a Spektrum DX8 (which also runs on 2.4GHz). Will they interfere on 2.4GHz? Which XBee to choose?
Where did you find that $9 Bluetooth adapter?

No, I meant "once the firmware is flashed" since you need the FTDI/USB for it.
All other functions/parameters can be accessed through the Bluetooth connection.

In the GUI you can leave the standard settings. Only set the appropriate COM port, 115k baudrate and disable the "flow control".

btw: I've seen used XBee Pros 2,4GHz for 10$ wholesale price. You guys should wait a little. Getting them from the cheapest source will benefit everyone...
