GPS not fixing

Hi there,

Until now I was not able to get a fixed GPS signal. I connected the antenna to the FC but the blue LED acts the same like there is no gps antenna connected to the FC. I tried to get a gps signal outside with a free view to the sky.

Hopefully the FC is not broken, because I never flew with it. Maybe the GPS antenna is broken. Is there a possibility to test the antenna?

Hi Sven,

which Autoquad are you using? the AQ6 or the M4?
Do you have details on the GPS antenna (maybe post a picture)?

Sorry, I forgot to mention, it's the AQ6.

The antenna is a "noname" product (nothing written on it). It was delivered by flyduino together with the AQ6. The connector of the antenna still looks in a good order. See the picture.

BTW another question: The orientation of the antenna on the Quad has to be like at the top of the picture, isn't it?

Well, "no-name antenna" sounds like you should rule this out first.
Connection to the plug on the board is ok, no bent parts?

Have you looked at the GUI while trying to get a fix? What does the communication console say - and what do the HAcc & VAcc values in the "Staus deatails" do - do they move?
