I would very much like to have a Hex file also. I have the Teensy connected to a M4 and a X4R Taranis Rx. I've been looking at Putty with a serial connection to Teensy and I see that I have no data being found.

Great, Johannes! 8-)

Will try myself but I´m not too confident I´ll manage it.

Once everything is running I`ll document it in the Wiki and make the files available in the DL section.

Thx for your successful tinkering!

Norbert

P.S.: "The .hex file is the final output of the compilation which is then uploaded to the board. During a "Verify" the .hex file is written to /tmp (on Mac and Linux) or \Documents and Settings\<USER>\Local Settings\Temp (on Windows)."

Hey guys, i found the hex file^^.
I compiled it with a activated serial connection via usb. So u can connect putty to the teensy via usb.
Have fun:-)

Johnannes

I'm using your new Hex file and I'm not getting any data.

The good news is that the USB debugging works but putty gives the same info as it did with the older Hex.

Johannes

I don't know how to get debugging to work but the dump looks the same as it did with the old Hex.

I'm powering the Teensy with the USB and I disconnected the 5 v power to the Teensy. I still have a ground to the M4 in place.

I found that if I power with the USB I get the LED to blink once fast and then slow. When I power with 5 volts the LED blinks once every second.

Now with the USB powering the Teensy it blinks once fast and then slow but when I connect the power to the M4 the LED blinks once a second.

The Teensy must be getting some signal from the M4 to have the LED flashing change.

Norbert

I have tried the "debug all on" yesterday and today but nothing happens when I try it.

I have used 'help" but it doesn't help me much.

If u have no data when debug all is on, perhaps u mismatched baudrates, or the last project used other serial pins?
This here listens on pin 9 and 10 for mavlink messages.
