Just found the problem.........

Default behavior is other ESC, for using onboard esc set MOT_ESC_TYPE to 1, for using PWM connected ESC32, set MOT_ESC_TYPE to 2.

Are you referring to this?



It uses a cheap BT mudule connected in parallel to the USB internally. Will see if I can find a diagram for the connection...

Update: found the instructions for the MX16. You will need to use a BT module at 115.200 baud rate like the ones from Flyduino or Viacopter.

Is this telemetry thing working on all MX/MZ/MC -radios?

I'm planning on getting a new radio to replace my ancient 9C/Spektrum -combo and as I have quite a lot Autoquad and Mikrokopter stuff Graupner/HoTT is quite a strong candidate because telemetry features.

Basically radios to choose from are MZ-18 or MX-20? What would be your suggestion?

Most guys I know use the MX 20 HoTT version.

Hello all,

Unfortunately I have had some recent crashes and after looking into the logs and discussing it with other autoquad members, The Hott firmware i was using has been blamed. Aparently other german users have been having similar problems and posting about it in the German forums.

Sorry to be a downer, i just thought people should know.

Edit....Well in my case, i do not think it was the Hoot firmware causing my problems. I had the same issues with non-hott firmware.
