Yea, not to sound alarmist, but make sure the radio channel values you're getting back from the AQ make sense. The Spektrum serial protocol is not very sophisticated... you can even give it an SBus serial stream and it can look like "real" data to the FC (though in that particular case it's pretty obvious something's not kosher).
