Yea possibly the older code couldn't detect the battery cell count when total was > 21V and therefore refused to arm. Detection was bumped to 25.8V limit (6S) at some point in 6.7.

Ordered new recoms and resistors. Will take some time to arrive (three weeks! Not only HK post is laggy), so i can do perfect static cal and finish other things

OK, after ultra-hyper-mega-slow shipping from digikey, parts finally arrived to my house.
Re-soldered resistor and recoms, re-flashed FW to rev.1, powered up with low cell battery, checked with 25V...
Then checked logs and found this:

Real voltage - 21.6-24V (current-limited PSU, was a bit floating on such low current).
After some measuring i discovered that in fact they sent me 80K resistors, not 8.45K...
I won't wait another month for some small resistors to arrive, will try to make something from existing parts around....
At least, powering from 6S works fine now.

OK, took few packages of SMD resistors and hand-selected correct values for voltage divider. Then made one resistor from two in parallel...

Resistor should be 8.45K with 1% accuracy. Managed to do it right (multimeter sometimes shows 8.45K, but have in mind, that he isn't 100% accurate too):

6S attached (battery not calibrated yet, only static calibration is done), with rev.1 firmware:

Ofc, dual-resistors on board does not look so cool like one, but aditional 0.3mm isn't big deal =)
Having all this stuff in 1 hour instead of waiting 6 weeks from digikey... Heh. I could have recoms from mouser in less than one week, choose digikey only for resistors, and they managed to mix them up...

Hi Jan and welcome to our forums!

If you have a rev1 board you only need to replace the Recoms by these: R-78B5.0-1.0 (6,5-32V ->5V 1A)

And the talks were about replacing R6 but dunno the new value. Maybe some expert can chime in?

Hi all

I am looking to use an AutoQuad on a 6-cell platform so was interested to see how this thread developed. Are new boards now 6S compatible or would I still have to make the mods that have been suggested here? I had always assumed that I could run the AQ off a regulator from the flight battery as I've done on previous models with other flight controllers (all MultiWii-based).
