Cant connect Spektrum satellite and motors not engaging

Hello, I connect my Spektrum Satellite to the AQ6, Ive changed the radio type to Spektrum 11 bit, Transmit to AQ, then reset. I connect properly my AQ6 to the ground control.

I cannot seem to get the Spektrum connected to the AQ6, I don't get Radio Control movement in the widget. I'm 100% sure I binded the Spektrum properly to my JR X9503.

I appreciate the help!







Should the Remote Receiver should be on even if the controller is off?

Have you flashed firmware to the AQ?
To bind the Spektrum satellite to your JR you need to have the satellite connected to a Spektrum receiver and both the receiver and the satellite should have their LED on solid. After you have the LED on solid on the satellite just connect the satellite to the AQ board and it should work.

Do you get the satellite's LED to be on when you have it connected to the AQ board and the Tx is on?

Did you load you motor mix to the AQ. Look in the directory qgroundcontrol_aq_Win\aq\mixes for your configuration and save to the AQ. I'd repower to see if it got saved for sure.

You need to bind in DSM2 protocol. Not DSMX.
If you use a RX < 8000 series for binding, select 10bit, above 11 bit.

The AQ relies on the compass in order to get it great performance. Any magnetic forces near the AQ board will make getting a great performance more difficult.
Power wires close to the board that are not twisted create magnetic fields.
ESCs give off RF that can also disturb the AQ board.
The signal wires from the ESC if they run near parallel power wires can carry higher then 5 volt pulses to the AQ board and damage the board.
Read the wiki and forum and you can have an amazing aircraft.
