Mav2Hott and R76 V2 problems

Postby Ecky » Sun Feb 10, 2013 1:11 am

Hallo,

trying to use Mav2Hott with r76/jDrones IO-Board/Graupner MX20 Hott without success.
Flashed Mav2Hott firmware from the repository on the jDrones Board, did the connections with AQ.
Some telemetry options work like GPS Position but other usefull options like working status -
armed, pos-alt-hold ... dosen't work for me (neither on dsiplay nor on LED lights where only lights
"front" and "rear" allways blinking - "left" and "right" no response) :(

Is there anybody who testet Mav2Hott with R75/76, perhaps there is a correlation
with the MavlinkChanges in R67/R74?

Didn't use Mav2Hott before R76, tehrefore i couldn's say if it works on my settings
before R76.

Hi Christian,

I took a quick look at the Mav2Hott code and it looks like it is setting some statuses based on what the AQ was sending before the latest Mavlink fixes (as you suspected). Which didn't conform to the Mavlink standard codes (and hence were wrong in QGC). I think someone will need to update CheckFlightMode in Functions.ino. I have no way to test any changes.

For clues to what the m2h_mode and m2h_sysstat values should correspond to, check MAV_MODE_* and MAV_STATE_* enums in mavlink/common.h.

I confirm no info in the windows where you have "no mavlink" below. I dont see "no mavlink" as no connection with the craft.

The main cause is the arming detection, that was based on the state bit and that is now only set to active when above alt-hold and prevent further execution in the code.
I already changed the mav2hott code to be compatible and in fact it now is similar to the AQ. Need to test it obvious so give me some time :)
