Though this might be a good and cheap solution for a mid range all-in-one system, Wifi suffers from 2 major problems: range & latency - and security if you use it as an AP in the air. Possible interferences with other 2,4GHz devices should also be considered...
I've already ordered the WR703N and will also test the MR3020. But they're pretty big and heavy.

Now that we have both the telemetry and the video downlink the next step could head towards an OSD.
Maybe someone can extract the telemetry data and sqeeze it into a video overlay?
