Yes, that's indeed strange. Nevertheless, I will adjust the how-to not to use all 4 cores for compiling. Should be a problem though since we only need to compile it once Max puplishes a new version.

I've already tested the compiled version you added in the image and also runs fine

Edit. I got this error while Building.

Angel

Angel, never seen this one. I have two more setups available where I want to test the installation procedure/compiling it. Will see if someone throws this error message too.

Could any of you sugest a monitor for RP3, to be used mainly for QGC? (of course : cheap, light and good enough)

Thanks

Hi Angel,
displays in a range of 7 to 10.1in can be sourced quite easily since they are targeting Raspberry etc. market. You should purchase a bright one (min 400cd/m2) with high contrast ratio (be higher the better).

Banggood has a 10.1in HD display from LG for around 70EUR (incl. A?D controller board) which looks o.k. on first view.

For 'professional use' you should look for a display which has min 800cd/m2 and 1000:1 contrast ratio (at least). But they will be heavier and in 4:3 aspect ratio most of the time.

The screen I am currently using is a Lilliput 669. It has been replaced by 665

I am getting a sample screen from the manufactorer next week. Both are listed as 250 mcd, but in my opinion they are bright enough for outdoor use.

Is is a quite pricey screen, but the quality is excellent.

This one is also interesting for the FPV crowd:
