about compiling error:
i got this too and ... this is cpu temperature problem (probably)

when i set -j2 compilation passed ok

Will update die post with new instructions later. Will also try on another board if no of CPUs used during compile will make a difference.
Van you check the install script?

using your last image and working here!. Thanks a lot. Using a Sandisk 32Gb HC-I
Now I´m building with your settings of the image.

I've already tested the compiled version you added in the image and also runs fine
