Strange, nothing in that part should have changed since 1.4... I'll have to take a look. Windows version?

Yes, Windows 7. Same behavior on a W7-32bit machine and a W7-64bit machine.

I can't flash firmwares using 1.5, but can using 1.4. This is trying to flash a firmware to the AQ board with the FW jumper shorted and using Com25 which is my FTDI cable.

The message I get is:
Com25: No error
Using Parser: Intel Hex

Hi Glenn, that part has been tested pretty thoroughly... not sure what is up. Behind the scenes QGC just runs a utility called stm32flash.exe. When you try to flash, it should show you the complete command line used... you could copy/paste that to a command prompt and see what happens with QGC closed entirely. And paste it here... maybe that will give a clue.

Hi Max

I have the same problem with caching the Google/Bing Maps to the HD

1.4 Works , 1.5 no

Testet on WIN 7 32/64 WIN 8.1 /64

the program does not create a directory (mapcache) and not a file

Some users reported problems when caching the maps in QGC 1.5.

The tiles obviously only get cached temporarily - after a restart the cache is gone.
It doesn´t save the tiles in the Data.qmdb in the C:\Users\XXX\mapscache folder.

The reason: the sql driver folder is missing in the root of QGC. Once added (e.g. taken from v1.4) everything works as supposed, the cache will survive a restart of QGC.

Zipped folder attached:
sqldrivers.zip
(722.5 KiB) Downloaded 109 times

Unzip and copy the complete folder into your QGC folder.

Thanks Norbert! Also you put an updated version of QGC up on the FTP server. ;)

ftp://ftp.autoquad.org/3/334693_22529/ground-control/Windows/qgroundcontrol_aq-Win32-1.5.0.1.zip

Only difference from 1.5.0 is the inclusion of the SQL drivers.
