When I connect via FTDI, I am able to see the HUD react to sensors, as well as the compass. When I tried to update the radio type or upload the motor mix, I get an Appcrash. This is on Windows7, but I also tried on my XP SP3 comp and groundcontrol also crashes.

SOLVED.

Out of desperation, I went to control panel and updated the FTDI driver in the device manager and rebooted. Works now. Hope this helps someone else.
