Hi,
I have updated the Android app.
At first thanks to,
- Guillaume Helle (
https://code.google.com/p/mavlinkjava/ )
We have worked together on the mavlink library
- Arthur Benemann (
https://github.com/arthurbenemann/droidplanner/ )
I'm using some "GUI" styles & code from this droidplanner
- Menno
for testing.
The follow me, and the tap to go, need a special fw.
I will attach a patch, for latest svn version.

Thx Peter, very good job!
Parameters now show up in landscape mode and the menus are well structured.
I´ve uploaded the file to the Download section. Could you please do a short write-up of the changes?

Wow this is cool.
Now I'm gonna go by an android tablet, which do you recommend and what other hardware do I need to get the entire functionality up and running?
Good work by all involved

Ok, I see that its an Easycap in the video. Is that using stock Android or did you use a rooted ROM with a special driver for the Easycap?

Hi, no offical kernel has a easycap driver in a stock image.
I'm using this with a costum Rom. But the important thing is the easycap modul.

Just gave the new GCS a try and Im not having much luck.
Nexus 7 (2012) with stock Android 4.4.2 and 3DR radio connected with OTG cable the application quits as soon as I try to connect over USB.
Galaxy Note 2 with stock Android 4.1.2 same radio and same result.
