QGC-AQ 1.3.0 (stable) available for Windows & OS X

New version of the AQ GUI is up!

There are extensive UI reorganization changes, and some internals have been reworked. One of the aims has been to streamline the UI, or at least organize it a bit better. You may need to take a moment to find some things that have moved around (tried to keep that to a minimum). Most notably, the AQ log viewer and telemetry screens have been moved to their own main widget -- shown by default in the new Data perspective (or available from the Main Widget menu).

You may also need to re-select your Main Widget in the different perspectives.

This version includes ESC32 calibration fixes from Peter. Also a nice new PFD (HUD alternative) from the main QGC project. If you have multiple AQs, you no longer need to restart QGC when switching between them (simply select which MAV to control and the current settings are loaded). Added descriptive tooltips to many parameters. Some more extraneous widgets and "features" were removed.

(quite a few!). Here are some screenshots to give you a general idea. Feedback appreciated. Problems are possible.

This version of QGC should be compatible with any AQ firmware version, and handles all parameters as of r182.

For full options (like gimbal tilt on port) we need r182 ? or it is in r100 ?

QGC (since ~1.2) will adapt to whatever parameters are available in the connected AQ/firmware version. Meaning it will hide/show fields as necessary. This version of QGC has been improved in that department, and should also handle all params available in r182 and lower. The full on-board params list is still available in the left-side tree view, like before.

There are also a couple minor Mavlink fixes coming up for the firmware which will send proper GPS speed, remaining battery percentage, and additional radio channels.

I more question:
Rather to FW but ... where (on FC) is UART 2 and what is a application for it ? (OSD, additional telemetry ?)

Added some . Longest set yet!

UART2 is on J2 expansion header (I forget the exact pins but it's in the I think). As for use, you can now, for example, set it up as a 2nd MAVLink port, with simultaneous output to both ports (optionally at different speeds). Down the line we might use it for other stuff also (AQ serial protocol, etc).

I was just having a look at 1.3. Amazing what you have done. Thank you so much for your efforts and for your time.
BTW what FW release is beta and ready to fly? I am using r100 now.

How can you top yourself each time you come up with something new?

Incredible change log for a one-man-band!
I like the Plastique style, the new HUD, the way you re-arranged everything and how it performs.

Only thing I came across is the double flash tool when you select the ESC32 tab. The standard flashing window stays there while the ESC window adds another one which might confuse some.
