Hi Max

I was loading r196 today with QGC 1.3.B2 and all went smooth. I just found three things you should know:
- When using HF mode, there is a nice display of the mode on top but no speech.
- It would be nice to have all Radio channels (lets say 12) displayed to check if the assignment is right.
- I usually load a small param file with my specific settings. Load File - Transmit - Write ROM. All params are updated except NAV_ALT_SPED_P and NAV_ALT-SPED_PM. Do not know why.

Hi Christof,

Yea HF mode announcements need to be added. In fact we have a new Mavlink message in the newer firmwares that will make the current flying mode announcements a lot more specific, but it needs to be implemented in QGC.

Good point about the channel assignments. I was concerned about the available space in the UI, but it might fit OK with the new 2-column layout.

As for your params... check the spelling on those 2 carefully. It's NAV_ATL_SPED_* (obviously a typo originally, but I guess too much of a bother to change now). I'm not sure why your saved file would have them spelled the other way...

It was always right there in front of my eyes - just did not see it. My missspelled define is added but can not be transmitted.

Thanks for the hint. I am not changing/using MOT_HOV_THROT. This entry dates back to june 2012.
As long as MOT_EXP_FACT is assingned to 0, expFactor is 0 anyway.

Did you really fly with this Altitude settings?
You reduce the motor output to 66/33 and set after this the Altitude PID's very high!!
What was the reason for this?
What was the problem with the "default" mixing?
Can you send me your complete mixing and and altitude pid's?
Please via pn, so we didn't going into the wrong direction in this thread.

"abort" button doest´t work in step3, (QGC 1.3beta2)
I have the same - abort on step 3 does not work.
