Max, IT WORKS! Tested under Mountain Lion. It prompted to install Xquartz after that I have GE and can set home point. The only issue I have so far and don't know if you can do anything about it. The mouse scroll wheel does not zoom in and out on GE but it does zoom on the "maps" main widget. Great work

Yes the splashscreen was a classy touch. I my never have to reboot to windows now LOL

Ah, but you'll need to use Windows to use the scroll wheel!

Sounds like the wheel is problematic on Mac, but turns out you can right-click, or ctrl+left-click, and drag to zoom and rotate. It does not distinguish a middle-click though (which tilts the view on Win). But it's almost as good as Windoze!

I can live with it the main thing is I can set home that saves a lot of moving the earth when it defaults to Europe an Im in the US. The click and wheel is not to bad to use for zoom. Its no biggy I noticed when you have the mission planer up the arrow graphics are not on the buttons. but it all seems to work so far.

Here is a new version for Windows -- 1.1.0 alpha 3. Probably the last of the alpha series, unless issues are discovered.

I simplified some of the voice prompts, which helps. Some of the system status updates are a bit off (like it says "standing by" when you switch to position hold)... we'll work on that for future versions. But most of the messages are correct and useful. BTW, you can mute the voice notifications in the File menu and also in File->Settings.

+ Added voice support for Windows. Should work w/out any additional software installation. Windows text-to-speech settings are a bit hard to find... on Win7 look for "voice recognition" in the Accessibility control panel.
~ Simplified voice notifications -- if only one system is connected, skips the "system ID" part of the announcement.
* Fixed widget resizing issue on small screens.
~ Telemetry interface improvements-- simplified future expansion, adjustable time window in plot, etc.
* Fixed missing icons on waypoint planner buttons.
* "Fix" Google Earth maps in Mac OS X version (from alpha 2 release).
