Headfree-Mode

Postby heinerle » Mon Oct 08, 2012 7:06 pm

Hi,

I search the board, but at the moment it is out of stock  why?

My question is, it is posible to fly whith Carefree or Headfree Mode (sorry for my bad english)
I dont find the settings for activate.
I need to make a Film with two Transmitters, one for the pilot and another for the cameraman. Cameraman have gimbal pitch and yaw from the copter. The pilot must have the same directions to fly.

@ Kinderkram

Best regards Heinrich

Welcome Heinrich!
The boards will hit the stores tomorrow evening. Can you wait another day? ;)

We already discussed the implementation of a "free" mode but it's not a high priority on our list.
Personally I'm not a friend of handing over piloting functions to the shooter. I also could only think of pretty static areal shots - flying and filming is nearly impossible I think.

An ideal situation would involve retractable landing gears in combination with a 3axis gimbal and a 6ch radio for the photographer/filmer.
So both can concentrate on their genuin jobs. But still the shooter has to tell the pilot how to fly...
