Actually it was a firmware bug with the new config setup. I just published a fix. The new builds are running now and will be @ ftp://ftp.autoquad.org/3/334693_22529/a ... trol/next/

BTW all these changes have been integrated into 'next' branch. Full list @ https://github.com/mpaperno/aq_flight_c ... CHANGES.md

Thank you very much for your quick response Max!!!

I've loaded the 1897 rev. on a fresh M4 v2 and all seems fine now.

I'll test it on the field tomorrow and let you know the results.

Ciao

Builds are available on the AQ FTP site, in the "config_rebase" branch: ftp://ftp.autoquad.org/3/334693_22529/a ... ig_rebase/

Hey guys i noticed that the above link doesn't work anymore, it seems the folder config_rebase disappeared.

Hi,

I am trying to update my AQ6.1 No Dimo No Quatos to version 7xx
While It was working quite well with 6.7.r224, the esc`s won`t stop beeping
when I upgrade to v7xx and I set mixer table and rc, the esc`s (after reboot)
still won`t stop beeping.

last firmware I tried was 1897
before 1848, and 1852

Is there anything I am missing?

kind regards
Gunnar

Hi Gunnar,

At some point (I forget which version exactly... 6.8?) the firmware was changed so that the ESC are not armed until AQ itself is armed. So some ESCs will beep until they're armed (get a valid PWM pulse). I believe some newer alternative ESC firmwares (RapidESC/WiiESC/etc) may mitigate this issue, but not sure.
