Instructions for Flashing firmware

Run QGroundControl V.1.0.1
DO NOT click on CONNECT LINK

Click on the Engineer tab
Click on the select Firmware tab
Navigate to the avq6.6.hex file you should have already downloaded to your PC
click Open
underneath the box now displaying the location of your aqv6.6.hex file
select the com port your AQ6 is connected to

Click on Flash Firmware
wait until firmware update is completed

Did all the above instructions and all looks good bud when I click on flash firmware I get in the flash screen,

Then nothing happens?????

Looks like you didn't select the COM port properly - LPT1 is your printer port.

I think that is because I use Parallels on my Imac, there are no other options than LPT1 and I can connect to the FC without any problem with this connection.

Problem is you are connected because you clicked Connect button.

You only get what you listed if you are connected, that was my problem initially

DO NOT click the connect button, if you are connected disconnect first

Start QGC and go straight to flashing

Flashing does it's own connect, that is what is confusing

I find out that Parallels with AQ is a no go, flashed the board with a windows laptop without any problem
