I tried setting an AQ board up on a clone f450 frame, and was getting similar behaviour to you. If I turned the mixer down to 50%, and the PIDs way down, I could get it to at least take off and hover, but it was very sloppy/unstable. I had this frame flying reasonably with other FCs however.

I gave up in the end and put it down to the fact that the arms were too flexible to ever get it working properly.

Thats a very interesting remark.
For AQ the frame must be rigid in order to fly well.

Are you plugging in your battery and taking off in the same spot? Or are you moving the quad to a launch spot before flight? I was running the same identical setup as you last year so don't give up hope its possible.

i am looking atthe logs trying to make any sense out of it
shouldnt the motor output be close to the same?
mine are looking wack is it possible that my escs are trippin out?

ok i made a video and afterwatching it a few times i think i may have figured it out
it sounds like i have 2 escs cogging on #2 and #4motors
that wouyld explain why it wantsto yaw when it did lift off
Here's the link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo02cgx ... ata_player
I have a set of esc32 but they are set for a cc3d
The pwm_min_value is 900 can I adjust this in the qgc? That way I don't have to go through each esc and change?

Pls post a flight log, the log file you posted is your dynamic log from the looks of it.

Motor outputs should be the roughly the same, if they are not, there is something wrong, most likely calibration of range or some other setup problem.

But we need to see the flight logs, and also a complete param set would be helpful. (Connect the quad to QGC and use "save to file" from the "onboard parameters" widget)

ESC you need to calibrate all the ESCs to a range of 1000-1950 uS. Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this with a AQ.

If you have a multiwii controller or just an arduino with Multiwii, you can use that to set up your throttle channel to have a range of 1000-1950 uS and then hook up each ESC indidually to the throttle channel and recalibrate them one by one. Remember to set your throttle range back to AQ range when you are done.

it's small quad
You can do "hand" test (carefully).
Drag quad in hands with about 30% throttle and check motors reactions.

but ... i think your esc aren't propelty calibrated

EDIT:
Jussi was first ;)
