FW 6.6.1 from download page - small issues

Postby afernan » Fri Jun 14, 2013 8:20 am

I´ve tested this fw called " compiled fw, Version v6.6.1 stable (b1036) for board rev. 1 & 2" from download page and has some small issues:

- you can´t configure signaling thru QGC. The switches in the page are off (you can´t change them). I´ve installed other fw from SVN and it works (r182).
- many "L1" parameters are inside unlike a standard fw. I guess this is used to test "l1" performances.

6.6.1 doesn't include signaling features, so nothing to configure and QGC adapts to that (1.3 hides then altogether instead of disabling them).

L1 params are in all fw versions I've seen... :?

Is it possible to get a compiled .hex of r182 for a rev2 board?

I would like to have a PPM fix, but also need signalling, and my crossworks trial has expired.

Edit. Don't worry have compiled r182 with arm-gcc and flashed it, but it doesn't look like my parameters are being saved to ROM correctly. They get lost after a reboot. Anyone have ideas how to get around this - running qgc 1.3 b2
